So whats got me going this time? McCain?? no...the democratic party?? no... puppies??? nope. Sarah Fucking Palin...YES!!!

I am so sick and tired of hearing how this woman is a "maverick" and how she "took on her own party to squash corruption" when in fact she's just as dangerous and corrupt as the rest of them! McCain chose her because he wants disgruntled Hillary supporters, so he picks one of the most conservative women (that he only talked to for 15 minutes a couple months ago) who basically has NO experience?!?! What the hell is the matter with this country??? Whats worse is that some of the disgruntled Hillary supporters are actually backing her!!! WHAT?? Palin, like I stated earlier is dangerous. She supports drilling in Alaska (Yes!! lets destroy an entire Eco-system!!!) against Gay/Lesbian rights, wants "creationism" taught in schools, is against abortion even in the cases of rape and incest (while she was mayor she made women who were raped pay for their own rape kits) her 17 year old daughter is pregnant (yes, abstinence only education works doesn't it!) and the father wrote on his myspace about how he doesn't want to be a father and how he doesn't want to get married at 18 and a lot of other stuff...so what is he doing? campaigning for his future mother in law!!! I hope the American people can see through her bullshit and be smart enough to vote for the obvious choice. If they don't and they buy into this whole Palin masquerade then, well I'm sorry but they don't deserve to vote. Is it worth being so angry that YOUR candidate didn't get the nomination that you are willing to screw this country over AGAIN??? is it? Think about it.

Another thing, Palin is part of "Feminists for Life"...look, I've said it before I'll say it again, people who are pro-choice aren't "anti-life" its not that you're against or for life its if you're for or against a woman being able to make decisions about her reproductive health, everyone is for life, its not like me or any other person who considers themselves pro-choice walk down the street see a pregnant woman and go "wow, she should have an abortion" because that would be, lets face it...fucked up. So this BS about having a group called "feminists for life" is a cop-out and gives women a bad name as far as I'm concerned. Every feminist is for life no matter what their political background may be and Palin is setting women back with her neo- 1950's house wife rhetoric.

We have a chance and a duty to turn this country around, to make it better to make it safer and prosperous so our children's children can live in a country they are proud to call home.

So, the DNC is happening and I hope Hillary's speech put a bug in the ears of those who are so angry over her losing the primaries that they said they would vote for McCain. I mean come on!! imagine being so disgruntled that you are willing to fuck the entire country AGAIN because YOU didn't get your way. Plus, like I keep saying Michigan and Florida were warned by the Democratic Party...move up your primaries and your votes wouldn't count. They have no room or right to bitch, they should be upset with their states....not Obama or the Democratic Party. Idiots. This is part of the reason why the Democrats keep losing elections.

So, I've been hankering to go to Europe right? Well, my mom was actually talking about going there w/ my brothers since we have a family friend that lives in Holland (HE'S A MAGICIAN!!) and since my mom has some $$$ from her fathers estate, it looks like I won't have to wait too long to get my buns on an aircraft...take some Ativan, pass out, and go play tourist.

I want to go to Europe. Maybe I can ask my parents to send me there when I graduate or something. HAHAHAHAHAHA.

OH MAN...I got an awesome haircut today, feels nice to have short hair during the summer. Easy to manage/style.

I don't even laugh anymore when I see Bush say something stupid on the tele. This whole offshore drilling BS is getting to me. Don't people understand that even if states approve drilling that we won't get the gas right away??? It takes YEARS..why? BECAUSE YOU HAVE TO GET VOTES, HAVE THE MAKE PLANS ABOUT WHERE YOU ARE GOING TO PUT THE MONSTERS AND THEN YOU HAVE TO BUILD THE SOBS THEN YOU HAVE TO BUILD PIPELINES AND THEN MAKE REFINERIES THEN YOU HAVE TO REFINE THE OIL AND ITS NOT EVEN THAT MUCH!!!!!!!!! BLAH BLAH BLAH! And WHY DESTROY ENTIRE ECOSYSTEMS JUST SO WE CAN HAVE IT A LITTLE EASIER?!?!?!

So, the UEFA Euro 2008 Tournament ended today with Spain beating Germany 1-0 in the final, so I'm not that bummed about it.

So the Czech Republic is out of Euro 2008 because of Turkey...wait...Turkey?? they have a football team? ugh. I was very upset by this as you can imagine because not only does the Czech Republic have some of the best footballers in the world (although their captain Tomas Rosicky was out due to a torn hamstring) they have the best goal keeper Petr Cech and they lost to fucking Turkey?? Its like the World Cup all over again when they lost to fucking Ghana 0-2. They didn't lost that badly though (final score 2-3 Turkey) The Turks put a lot of pressure on the goal. Oh well, I guess now I have to pick a new team to go for...lets go with either Croatia or Holland (who are both doing quite well).

OH MAN, I can hardly contain myself...its soccer season, international soccer season to be exact. My team (Czech Republic) plays Portugal tomorrow. Russia let me down though, Spain beat them (4-1) BUT Sweden made me happy by beating Greece (2-0)... Of course I want the Czech Repub. to win Euro 2008 But I also support the following teams:

Group A- Ceska Republika, UND ...oh I'll just go with Switzerland
Group B- Deutschland UND Polska
Group C- Nederlanden UND Romania
Group D- Sverige UND Rossiyskaya (...I guess..)

RANT TIME FOR WINTER LEE

OK. Here is what's been happening on the WL home front. My grandmother died on Thursday the DAY BEFORE my dad left to go to Toronto did he call me OR my brothers? NOPE. I found out this MORNING that she died and naturally I called my stepmother to ask when my dad was coming home etc etc. Did she pick up the phone and call? NOPE! So I'm rather upset with certain members of my family right now.

I would now like to steer my rant towards politics (don't I always??) everyone knows that Florida/Michigan's Democratic primary votes didn't count BECAUSE THEY BROKE PARTY RULES BY PUSHING UP THEIR PRIMARIES AND WERE WARNED THAT IF THEY DID MOVE THEIR PRIMARIES THEIR VOTES WOULDN'T COUNT. Now, yesterday the dnc had a hearing to see if MI and FL should be allowed to be represented at the convention, if votes/delegates should be counted...and guess who were the ones who pushed this...Clinton supporters...SHOCKING. I agree that the voters shouldn't be punished and all that but ITS THEIR OWN STATES THEY SHOULD BE UPSET WITH BECAUSE THEY BROKE THE RULES AND EVERYONE HAS TO PAY....unfortunately. Now Clinton supporters are threatening to vote for McCain (that's smart...yes, lets get another out-of-touch-war-monger president in office!!) Democrats should be UNITING against McCain and pointing out how out of touch the guy is, not bitching because THEIR nominee isn't winning. Buncha sore losers. Now they're planning on to the convention so....its just a mess, and I hope people realize that WE CANNOT AFFORD ANOTHER REPUBLICAN president. ugh.
